Wow do I neglect this site....I guess I just suppose pretty much no one reads it, so why write on it...but hey, I'll give it a shot anyway. Happy New Year peoples!!

Let's see....finished my first semester of college....had a boyfriend...no longer have a boyfriend......got a 4.0....have two jobs, one at Pizza Hut Wingstreet and one at a day care down the street from me. Have hung out a lot with friends, gotten closer to cousins....life is pretty good....

Involved in a couple of Bible Studies, good stuff I tell u!

had a stinky new years eve....cause I spent it all by myself at my house...hope ya'll had better.

School will resume the 28th....so still have a few weeks to go.....how is everyone out there????

Hey guys! I know....it's been forever!

I'm in AZ now, enjoying myself I must say!!

I plan to go to reentry in CO on the 4th. See u there Cara and Auntie Duck!

I am signed up for college and have all my classes and am now looking for a job...please pray for that situation!

God is good!! He is definitely helping me to trust him more each day!!

Hey, don't guess many people other than you are reading this Aunt Sheryl, but if there is, that's sweet :)

I've been sick for the past couple of days but was able to get to school to take my AP Literature and Composition exam today, that went well.

Other than that...life is fairly busy...still going to back therapy....

God is good! I read something that compared him to a mother who yanks her child from the robber's arms and how we should thank him for the pain we suffer while being yanked from the danger...or something like that.

Well, I am back from a long and exhausting weekend of outreach!! We went to a town called Kaffrine (about 4 hours out of Dakar) and stayed there the weekend. We built foundations for a church and did drama, medical, and vbs stuff there and in the surrounding villages. It was really good!

God definately blessed our trip and there are now 8 new believers in God's family!

Hey ALL!!!

So...everyone is sick here.....please be praying for that. Also, my distant cousin Dary got wounded in Iraq, please pray for him, his family, and his new fiancee.

Mr. Taylor, a guy from our church in the states, is here for awhile to minister, pray that he is effective! He's awesome...pray that he feels effective.

On the bright side...and somewhat shallow....I got my senior pics taken!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! I put one of them (a threesome pic) as my profile one. I may post more later.

For my dear Auntie Duck's sake I am am updating.

Let's see, I tried out for the play, didn't make it, but i suppose that's fine, I have more time to spare then...haha..that's a laugh...i don't have time!

We just had Olympics and it was a partial senior fundraiser so i was real busy with that. We had SEW (Spiritual Emphasis Week) a couple weeks ago which was awesome!

I feel off a see-saw....yes you read right...i fell off a see-saw...and no i will not comment...but it wasn't my fault!

I went to a party last night...that was fun, but I was really tired after the long day of work at Olympics. I ended up getting home late...but part of my ride home was fun! It involved a four-wheeler, ahhhh very nice!

I have been working on school work quite a bit today and trying to catch up on email and stuff....

I just thank God that I have him to get me through my stressful life...which I'm sure to most of you is sounding easy...but honestly it is not. However, I know there are many who have it worse.

Christmas is only 5 days away…it’s so strange…candles, lights, bears, stockings, carols, trees, snowmen, presents…and all of this just fluff —in comparison to you they are nothing. You are the supreme–the gift this Christmastimes. As we drink the hot cocoa and apple cider, teach us to remember to ‘toast’ to you. As we unwrap our presents, help us to remember Mary giving birth to such a precious child in a lowly, foreign stable, while we sit in the warmth and comfort of home. When we turn the lights on on the tree, let us remember the guiding star and your shining smile. As we eat our Christmas turkey, help us to remember what little feasting was enjoyed on the day of your birth in that tiny stable. And Lord, while we remember all these things, help us not to pity, but to rejoice! For, God’s son came in flesh, to be born in all humility, to save the world from itself. First, in the form of a child, and then a man, sent to deliver the world and set it free. While we enjoy our many blessings, help us to remember the greatest blessing of all. The child, the man of Galilee and Nazareth, the savior of all mankind, who chose such a day to loop upon man with such love as to live among us and set us free from our sins. What a rare and precious gift this is, and it must be cherished.
